2:07 PM on September 9th, 2008 | On Sunday, Sept. 8 we sponsored a mini-Olympics fun meet as a gym fundraising event. We had a lot of fun events scheduled, like the javelin throw (with fun noodles), shot put (with a 1 lb. weight), long jump, high jump (over a rope into a pit mat), rope climb, "L" Hold and Chin-up, and cartwheel contests, and a rhythmic routine with a hoola hoop. The participants were awarded with medals and ribbons. A lot of FUN was had by all!! We hope to make this an annual event! |
