Unless there is a upset, it appears the ladies will be traveling to Union High School in Clinton on Thursday night for a 7PM tip off.

Mens NCHSAA Basketball Tournament Round 1 vs Wallace-Rose Hill
Bryan Williams went off and dropped 24 on the Bulldogs heads to send them home howling and toting a 83-65 beat down.
Men play again Wednesday at 7PM most likely at Jones Senior High unless Princeton pulls a shocker. If that happens, The Panthers are back home.
Tuesday night the Lady Panthers take on Lakewood at 7PM in what proves to be a very interesting game.
The ladies lost in OT to this same squad back in January. What an excellent opportunity to beat the spots off the lady Leopards.

Carolina 1-A Tournament Finals
Panther Ladies Lose 52-49
NoJo Men Fall 55-52
Although the night did not turn out to be all that was hoped for in Panther country, the NCHSAA Tournament begins Monday at 7PM for the Men and Tuesday at 7PM for the Ladies. It appears that both teams will have their first two games at home as a result of being the regular season champions and #1 seeds of their conference.
I'll post a link to the playoff pairings late Saturday afternoon when the NCHSAA releases it.

**Wrestling News**
North Johnston senior co-captains Jacob Lewis(189) and Wayne Johnson(215) both qualified for the state wrestling tournament to be held this weekend in Winston-Salem. Lewis finished 2nd losing 3-1 in the final to Louisburgs Ervin Hunt. Jake tweaked his knee a little bit his semi final. He didn't wrestle in the final like he had all day. Johnson lost 8-4 to eventual champion Emmanuel Bryant of Croatan but came back with two wins in the consolations to capture 3rd. Wayne wrestled as well as he ever has.Bryant dominated him last year but Wayne was in the match all the way this time. Johnson came from behind in 3 of his four wins. Lewis will be making his second trip while Johnson is a first time qualifier. NJ finished 11 out of 32 teams in the tournament, which was won by Croatan followed by state dual champ Topsail with Louisburg third. I wasn't there last night but my Ace field reporter was. Thanks to Tyler Daughtry.
JV Wins 69-64
V-Ladies Lose 57-41
V-Men Lose in OT 79-78
Injury bug continues to hit the girls with Casey Creech going down late in the game. Our thoughts and prayers are with her.
Boys were car jacked by an juiced up time keeper. One time clock screw up at the end of a game you can swallow. Two and it sounds like some home cooking at AG.
See recaps for all the additional info. Tournament kicks off Wednesday at 6pm right back at the scene of the crime. Ladies start the action and NJ men follow that game at 7:30PM.

I couldn't make the game tonight folks. Had a stomach virus jump me like a thug in a dark alley. Nevertheless, when you people start getting home If one or two of you would be so kind as to forward me the scores if you remember them or at least who won. I would greatly appreciate it.
